Perfect preparation?

Second of this year's biannual friendlies against Kevin. For this one I'm at home. Four bowls, first to twenty-one. Kevin's jack, he goes two up. A single to me on the next end, score 1-2. And that's it. I don't win another end. Finish the match 21-1 to Kevin. My line and length were variable throughout. Kevin gave the green credit for his best bowls performance ever. At least two bowls up to the jack. Great bowls.

Following on from a 21-10 stuffing from mate Tony on Sunday, that's really set me up for Finals Day on Saturday and an appearance in the Men's Two Bowls Final. Playing last year's winner who went on to beat all other Two Bowl Club Champions to become County Champion of Champions. So what could go wrong? I'm hoping I've got all my rubbish bowling out of the way just in time ~:0)
