Trepidation

Men's Fours away match against bottom team Papworth C this evening. We really need all seven points to get us back into a promotion-winning position. Never had a good game on this tricky green, so approach the match with some trepidation.

Skipping on rink 6, there's nothing in it. By the twelfth end it's 8-8. Looking across at our other two rinks, slightly behind us in ends played, it's 11-11 on one, 10-10 on the other. Gulp!

We put three winning ends together to go 13-8 ahead. They respond and pull it back to 13-13. We then get a killer four on the nineteenth end. Ensures we win the rink 18-14.

Our other two rinks also turn things around to win on both. A 7-0 win on points means we should be back in contention for promotion. Hurrah! Here are the scorecards.
