Outclassed

At home this morning in the Top Club competition against Whittlesey Manor Bowls Club. I'm playing second in the Fours. Four per team, two bowls each. Also triples, pairs, four bowls and two bowls singles. Whichever team gains most total points wins.

Pretty obvious we're up against top class opponents when our two bowls national champion gets walloped. On our rink we're behind throughout. Their lead is very accurate. Number three likewise. And their skip plays some amazing shots. Learn after he was the Under 25 Indoor National Champion last year. End up losing 9-26. Lose all the other rinks too.

Happy with my play. Just about every bowl bang on line. Unfortunately, on a quick green, most were a yard too long.
