Withdrawal symptoms

Two days without playing and bowls withdrawal symptoms set in. Thinking forward to my next game. Trying to figure out how I can squeeze a solo session in beforehand. Constant rethinking of good shots from the previous match. Last played on Friday. Next match scheduled almost a week later, on Thursday.

So it's a pleasant surprise to find the Tuesday social roll up has moved to Monday because of a County v County fixture at St Ives. Fits in perfectly with my commitments.

Even better, the rink I draw is playing pairs. Good players, too. Have a very pleasant afternoon's bowls. On one end I knock their second bowl out in a line of three. Two to us! Confidence and ability in playing a drive shot is improving with every game. Result... more options as I consider the next shot.
