Last Over 60s league match of the season, against Great Barford B. Unfortunately a bit of a trial in parts. Started off playing well, but the three of us declined as the afternoon wore on.
Not helped by one of our team increasingly complaining about how our skip was playing, giving advice where it wasn't needed and taking on tasks that weren't hers to do. Even if you lose, can still have an enjoyable match. But not with a moaner on board.
Ended up losing 19-9 on our rink, losing the match 5-2 on points. That means we're staying in Division 2 next year. Makes no difference to me. I'm giving up playing for the Over 60s team next year to focus on captaining the Men's Fours B team.
