A whole four days since I last rolled a bowl, and felt better for it when I popped down to the bowls club for a practise session this evening. Although it's early days with the new scoring system, got a much improved score over the first two attempts. And that was with the addition of minus one point for anything bowled short by four feet or more. That suggestion came from reader Clarke in Canada, Hopefully cure my ongoing habit of bowling short.
No sign of a cure on the first end though, with all four bowl well short. But after the odd bowl in the following few ends, didn't deliver another one short until the eleventh end.
So record score set at 62, and back to more than half my bowls within three feet of the jack. Got to aim for more than half within two feet. Here's the scoresheet and graph...
