Where's my opponent?

Second round tie (and quarter final) of the Non Winner's club competition this evening. Or so I thought. Had called my opponent on Friday to ensure all was on schedule. Unfortunately he thought we were playing next Sunday.

Didn't waste the evening. Had a game to 21 with my marker, a fellow B Team player. Close match throughout, me winning 21-19.

Got a couple of important matches this week. First round of the Club Pairs on Tuesday evening. Me and Geoff were runners up last year. Tough game against two experienced players.

On Friday my first round match in the Men's Handicapped Singles. Up against an A Team player with a handicap advantage of only two. So he's playing to 23, me to 21. Will have to be on top form for that.

And finally, selected for the B Team playing Sawtry away on Thursday evening. Been a few weeks since I last got picked. Need to put in a good performance.
