Friendly match this afternoon. Forecast heavy rain and wind, so didn't look too hopeful. Glad it stayed dry all afternoon, if a little cool.

Four ends of triples, eighteen ends. On our end the opponents didn't score a single bowl until we were well past the halfway point. Ended with a comfortable win, 21-8 to us.

The match ended 2 - 2, St Ives claiming victory with the highest total bowls score. Sandwiches and tea after. Great fun.

Played lead. Didn't deliver a single wide bowl, and almost all were within a metre of the jack or behind. At last I seem to be getting into a rhythm. Perfect timing, with the Club competition draw this coming Saturday.
