The new set of bowls stickers arrived today, to replace the ancient Hunts Bowls Club stickers that were on the woods. Bought form eBay, £3.60 for eight.
Went for bright orange since I have great difficulty telling which are my bowls and which are my opponents. Orange is my favourite colour.
When I bought my bowls second hand via a local newspaper ad about ten years ago I didn't have a clue what I was buying at the time, but having done a bit of research it seems I was lucky to buy reasonably well. My bowls are Henselite Championship five inch heavy bowls. For all I knew at the time I could have bought a set of ladies woods.
