You'll probably guess from the image that there was a modicum of success in this afternoon's pairs match, being the highest score after 21 ends.

Won pretty convincingly in fact, 24-11 against a very sociable pair of opponents who made the fixture a pleasure throughout. Good to know no matter how many stray woods I bowled, Jeff was there to follow up and sort things out.
Our next round opponents are skippered by the player who annihilated me on my very first competition match in the over 60s singles on Monday 10 June. Hopefully he'll notice a marked improvement from then. Apparently they're a good pair and we'll have a fight on our hands to win.
