A vision of gold

No one at the Club this evening. Got the green all to myself for a solo practise.

First session on rink six. Pretty soon can see something special is happening. Regularly getting two or three bowls within a couple of feet of the jack. Hardly a short bowl in sight. Got the line absolutely nailed. The crouching style requires only small adjustments in swing to fix the length. Result the best ever by some margin. Forget the target of 50% of bowls within three feet. How about 54% within two feet and 70% within three feet?

Second session a bit more average overall. Put that down to tiredness. Very hot and humid. Still manage to put a bowl within two feet on fifteen of the eighteen ends.

Looking very positive for this weekend's trip to Scone Park Bowling Club to defend my Harry Roscow Trophy title. A social roll up and a final solo practise before then. See if results hold up.

Here's the updated chart and scorecard from this evening.
