Afternoon social triples rollup. Penultimate preparation for this weekend's competition for the Harry Roscow Trophy. On rink 6, my favourite playing away from the clubhouse.
Our opponents hardly get a look in. Win 22-5, with all but three of the sixteen ends going to us. Another positive result. On one end my opposite number described the head as a Kodak moment, all my bowls surrounding the jack to give us three. Hardly an end without at least one bowl in the count or shot bowl.
Bit puzzled at one point. Playing skip, sure I'd only rolled two bowls. No sign of a third. After the head had been cleared, realised the opposing skip had hidden my final bowl by dropping her cloth on top of it. Sure it was accidental. We won the end anyway.
