Our third Men's 4s league match this evening, away to Ramsey B. First time played here. Idyllic setting, overlooking the golf course. Not exactly balmy, a chill wind coming off the fairways. Initially looks like we'll be lucky to get two points. We're struggling on rink 2 and keeping even on 3.
My team on rink 5 are off to our usual slow start. The line is really tricky on one hand, the bowl rolling against bias at one point. Down 2-6 by end six, we then click and win ten of the next twelve ends. Our number three is playing a blinder and I'm scoring on most ends as skip. We cruise home to a convincing 20-9 win.
Rink 2 has an equally impressive win, 21-11. Pity rink 3 struggles throughout, losing 12-25. Happy with a 5-2 points win and maintaining our unbeaten record. Here are the scorecards.
