First indoor league bowls match of the year. Up against Sawtry Bowls Club, currently second in the league. We are second bottom and start as though heading for a heavy defeat. It's the sixth end before we score. But what a start... within another three ends it's all level.
Close match from then on. Coming into the last end, we're one ahead. We lose the match when they score three on the last end. Drat! That's not the first time to happen. Here's the scorecard.
