Return indoor bowls match against Somersham Bowls Club this evening. They're just above us in the league. And we're off to a brilliant start. After losing the first end by one, the next seven are ours. Surely we won't lose with a 13 - 2 lead?

Decide to give them a bit of a chance with the next three ends. But the result is never in doubt. Our first win, with some style. What changed? We had a beginner playing. Our skip admitted it wasn't his best night. Might have had my best match to date, but that certainly wasn't the reason for our win. Sometimes just down to how the bowls roll.

Had three three consecutive touchers. For the first time felt maybe I could consistently get near the jack. Still nothing to compare to outdoor bowling. Here's the scorecard.
