Mediocre

Couple of solo practise sessions this evening. Trying to keep my form up for the impending Men's Four Bowls semi-final. Still no date, but determined to be ready.

Rather wish I hadn't bothered. Results were pretty mediocre. Line spot on, length a real struggle. Realise why afterwards. Knew there was a friendly on Friday afternoon, with thirty-six bowlers tramping up and down. Forgot there were a couple of team semi-finals in the evening. Another forty-eight bowlers flattening the green in the other direction. Another case of bowling on glass... no wonder length was such a struggle this evening.

Still, if conditions are difficult for me they should be likewise for my opponent. Here are the scorecards, for what they're worth.
