Timely practise

Playing six matches from tomorrow over the next eight days. Two are difficult Club competition games. Not making the same mistake as last Saturday, when I ducked a solo practise and played disastrously the following day.

The result of two solo sessions? The first eighteen ends were pretty average. The second, on a different rink, felt much better. Got two or more bowls close to the jack just about every end. Very few bowls short. But the graph shows was only just above the target of 50%. Think the second and third ends, both of which were blank scores, did for a record result. Suppose the most positive features were one of the highest scores within a foot of the jack and the lowest short bowls possibly ever.

What the practise has done is boost confidence. Much more comfortable on the quick green. Might be famous last words, but now ready for anything. Here's the scorecard.
