Improvement required

No competitive Club matches scheduled now until Finals Day. So I'll be attending all the social roll ups to keep my eye in. A few solo practises too, the first of which is this evening.

Trying to prepare for anything that's thrown at me. Play six ends normal length jack, then a long jack for six ends, finishing with six short ends. Two bowls one hand, two the other. On rink 6 since I've not played it all season. Got a very satisfying severe curve at the end on one hand.

The most striking thing is the number of short bowls. Almost one in three. As a result, barely one in three bowls were within a yard of the jack. Not sure if I've ever had such a bad result. At least it's put me on guard. The green is much heavier at this time of year. I'm going to have to work hard on Finals Day to win anything!

Here are the updated solo results and this evening's card.
