Controlling the curve

Social roll up this afternoon. Looked in doubt since the weather forecast was for heavy rain and thunderstorms. But as is often the case in St Ives, we played in warm sunshine with only a few drops of rain towards the end. Very enjoyable triples match. Drew 7-7 after twelve ends.

Played well in the second half, once I'd got my eye in. Have developed a habit of bowling too narrow. Started during the triples competition on Sunday and continued today. Know the line, standard delivery, but the bowl doesn't go where I intended. Really annoying when, having done it with one bowl, I do exactly the same thing with the next. Think it's down to concentration, and not staring at the aiming point all the way through delivery. Might be I'm not standing in the correct position. Have to check
