The Men's 4s B Team is exceeding my expectations as Captain. We've smashed the target of 40 points I set for the end of season to ensure we avoided promotion. Comfortably middle of the table, Division 3 is so tight a 7-0 home win against Huntingdon B on Thursday would take us above them and competing for promotion. Unfortunately our home form isn't too great. Only won 2 out of 6. Away form is just the reverse, winning 4 out of 6.
Our A Team is feeling the heat of Division 1. Riding high in number 1 position for most of the season, they've had a few bad results and now sit safely at 3. Still an awesome performance, having been promoted last year.
And what a result at the HBF County Championships for our Club. Robert Jepson won both the Men's 2 Bowl and 4 Bowl Championships, Tony Dymond and Gordon Phillips won the Senior Pairs Championship. St Ives riding high!
