Signs of improvement?

Upward graph line
Been thinking for a couple of weeks that my bowls performance has moved up a level. Settled into a fixed method of delivery, I've got more time to think about the shot to be played. Able to fix the line very quickly. Improving judgement of length. Time for a solo practise to see if that translates into results. Not played on rink 5 before, but decide to give it a try since it's the preferred rink of one of our top bowlers.

On the first three ends, with no trial shots and a fast green, every bowl is within three feet of the jack. Never got anything near to that kind of performance. In a singles competition match, just the kind of start to trouble any opponent.

Very happy with the first nine ends. Getting 70% of my bowls within three feet of the jack. Tail off a bit in the second nine. Low boredom threshold coming into play. Never arises when I'm playing a singles match, so not too worried.

Most pleasing outcome of the evening is judgement of length. Other than ends ten and eleven, there were few short bowls. All but three ends had at least two bowls within two feet. That will make it difficult for any opponent to score more than a single on any end.

Here's the updated performance chart and result for the evening.
