One week to go, and club members are giving the facilities a spring clean. Pays not to stand still for too long unless you want a good clean and polish. Here's an idea of the attention to detail... a couple of trusty bowlers giving the equipment shed a good seeing to.
There's an air of optimism. The green looks better than ever. The gutter surround was rotting and bowing in places and looked a bit sorry for itself last year. It's all been replaced. The irrigation system was a problem last summer, meaning the green was dry and fast as lightening. That's been replaced too. Got a feeling 2017 is going to be a great season!
