Disappointed!

What a disappointment! This evening's big match in the prestigious Men's Four Bowls Singles club competition against last year's winner called off at the last minute! My opponent babysitting, his wife called out to work.

Just as well. Had nine holes of golf in the morning, then a game of bowls against my son in the afternoon. Only his second game and first one we'd scored. I won 21-1. Hope that didn't put him off! By late afternoon was a bit jaded.

Rescheduled for Tuesday morning. Next club competition match is Men's Pairs on Monday evening. One opponent is the club's best bowler and a County champion, the other the club coach. So a bit of a challenge.
