Busy schedule

I'm impressed with the way the outdoor bowls season takes off with a bang. No sooner has Opening Day happened than we're busy, busy busy. All league matches, friendlies and club competitions. And busy club rolls ups as members cram in some practise in advance of the club competition draws on Saturday. There were over twenty eager bowlers at the roll up yesterday afternoon.

At the last committee meeting one member highlighted the lack of a club fixtures card. I committed to getting a quotation to print one. Didn't realise everyone else's timescale was to discuss at the next meeting and produce one for next year. In a flash I'd done the card, updated it following feedback, and made it available from the club's web site. Also printed a few for our non-PC literate members.

What has impressed me is just how many fixtures our club has. Hardly a couple of days go by without some match or other. And the card doesn't list all the club events. What about twice weekly roll ups on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and the men's roll up on Wednesday afternoons.

Here's a couple of images of the club card.
