Almost ready

Weather forecast more than gloomy for this afternoon's social roll up. Maybe why only six male bowlers turned up. Managed to arrange for me and Geoff, my pairs partner in Sunday's pairs final, to play a couple of good B Team players.

Excellent preparation for the final. Both played well, never under threat. Won 25-10. Hope we play as well on Sunday.

And the weather? Got a little rain, but managed to play a full game. With the end of the outdoor season so close, grateful for any time on the green.

The bowls are looking a bit sad after two damp games. Application of TLC and Grippo and they'll be gleaming again by lunchtime tomorrow.
