National Champion

We had a few players competing in the EBF national finals at Skegness during the past week. In the Senior Pairs Tony and Gordon got knocked out in the first round. Our real star, Robert Jepson, was competing in both the 4 Bowls and 2 Bowls Finals. He got knocked out in the quarter-final of the 4 bowls, but was today crowned national champion in the 2 Bowls final. It's the second time he's been EBF 2 Bowls Champion, previously winning in 2003.

Guess who we're up against on Monday evening in the Club Pairs! It'll be Robert's first match since winning the national title. A real honour, to play against someone of that class.
