Odd one in

Over 60s Triples against Huntingdon this afternoon. Playing second in a good team, we're soon behind to what looks like an even better trio. My opposite number has very straight bowls. Really annoying to see his first few delivered straight to the jack with barely any bias. Even more annoying, their skip keeps getting a single when we've got three or four bowls surrounding the jack. By half time tea and biscuits we're behind 4-12.

Back out again and within a couple of ends their skip finally fails to save them from a six to us. We're keeping pace as they seem to be fading. On the last end we need three to draw. Only get a single. A loss on our rink 14-18. We lose overall 3-4 in points.
