It's not just the bowls...

The bowls club is packed on a cold January evening. It's bingo night and over fifty members and friends have turned up to have fun. The green, location of so many happy memories, is a ghostly image in the dark.

Didn't win a thing. Just happy to be amongst friends. Walked back home in the dark, fuelled by multiple sausages, beans and baked potatoes with cheese. Maybe a few whiskies too. Never leave the bowls club without feeling uplifted. Less than three months to go to Opening Day!
