Looks attractive doesn't it? The image from eBay of the new leather Slazenger bowling shoes that arrived today. Cost all of £16.99. Although I bought a really nice pair of leather shoes for about £40 ten years ago, for some reason I bought size 9 when I'm size 10.
If these new ones are leather, it must be special Chinese leather. They pong of plastic and having sprayed them continuously with Fabreze to no avail I've had to stick them in a bag to subdue the smell. Going to feel a right plonker when I wear them for the first time down the bowling club.
