Consistently hot

It's the Tuesday social roll up and we're standing like stalactites on the green. Stalactites in grey and white. Certainly not icicles. It's the hottest day of the year. 32 degrees centigrade.

Today I'm playing pairs, my partner one of the more capable elder lady social bowlers. We're up against two decent Mens B Team players.

Playing away from the clubhouse, the most tricky direction. But today I'm finding the line quickly and consistently. Not long before we've established a decent lead. In fact, we win with that magic number combination of 23-7. The same score Geoff and I achieved in our pairs club competition match. Like it!
