Tough league match

Men's fours league match at home this evening against Brampton B. It's tight at the top of the table, with only four points separating five of the total nine clubs. Brampton B are fifth in the league.

They're on fire this evening, ahead on all three rinks by the half way point. Then our rink strings together eight consecutive end wins. In fact, our rink opponents only win one end out of the final eleven. We end with a convincing 34-17 win.

Unfortunately our other two rinks are struggling. Aim is to minimise the difference so we can pick up the bonus point for scoring most bowls. And we do, by just two bowls. So a 3-4 loss on points and only an average performance for the team. Hopefully we remain top of the division.

Really got into the swing of things in the second half. Managed to roll at least one of my two bowls up close to the jack. Towards the end I was getting both bowls close.
