Reassuring roll up session this afternoon. Beginning to like my new bowls. They have a very steady curve towards the jack. I'm guessing with my old bowls, the price paid for a satisfyingly sharp hook at the end of their trajectory was judging the right distance. Seem to be able to get a better length with the new set. Certainly working today. Had at least one bowl in just about every winning head. Our triples team won 16-7.
Warm sunshine, a well prepared green, playing good bowls with pleasant company. Bowling heaven!
