A game of two halves

Over 60's B Team match against Hemingford B. They're second place in Division 2, one behind our leading A team. So we've got a bit of a challenge on.

On our rink their skip is playing a storm and they open up a lead. But we recover, courtesy of our skip's skills. Go into half time tea and biscuits 9-8 ahead.

Must be something in the tea. Our lead, and me at second, play out of our skins in the second half, rolling bowl after bowl up to the jack. Their skip has definitely lost his edge. They only gain one more end and we win 20-10.

Unfortunately our other two rinks get thrashed. We lose the match 2-5.

Now committed to the new method of setting the line. Fix consistent aiming points on the far end of the rink. On each end find interim aiming points part way up the green in line with those. In the first half of this afternoon's match I was all over the place. As soon as I switched to the new method my bowls were at last going where I meant them to.
