Consistency

Desperate for more singles practice before this weekend's matches against my brothers. So fixed up a game this afternoon against my doubles partner and Men's 4s A team lead.

Got off to a cracking start and was 9-0 up by the fifth end. Continued to bowl well throughout, winning 22-13 after 21 ends. That's the first time I've beaten him!

Proving beneficial, delivering from a position low to the green. Not only is the bowl speeding off more smoothly, I seem to be hitting the marker more often too.

Are the days of patchy performances gone for good? That's two consecutive good results. Could have no sterner test than the matches coming up from Friday onwards.

Here's the scorecard...
