Managed to fit a solo practise in before the club competition draw evening. With an average performance, sometimes wonder why I bother. Half the bowls showing grey on the graph below. At least not short, but also nowhere near the jack.
Got into a cycle of changing things. Aimed at a marker on the far end of the green. Pushed the bowl rather than using a proper swing. Thought I'd got a settled method now. Why start experimenting again???
Must bowl more on instinct. At times I'm getting so screwed up on delivery I'm missing the most important things. So long as I go into auto mode and follow the set method, all will be well. I can then concentrate on line and length.
