Beavering away for a few hours helping repair some of the green edging. Might have taken a couple of hours, but hard to get the drill between the green and banking edges. So having spent the morning grunting and cursing, me, Geoff and Ian returned for more effort after lunch.
To keep annual membership fees low, a trusty band of members are on the green every week, working on maintenance and repairs. In summer they're toiling at least twice a week. Every one of them has been subject to or is in need of repair themselves.
My knee is a bit wobbly today. The result of stepping off the stairs with a bit too much enthusiasm ~:0(
