Standard maintained

Another team loss this afternoon. Getting a bit predictable. But this time there was a difference.

Since my win last Thursday the standard of my bowls seems to have gone up a level. This afternoon was no different. Playing lead. Searching for the right line first couple of ends. My opponent looking tasty from the start.

Then I hit the line and never looked back. Rarely beaten by the opposition lead. Our skip was playing well too. We were the only rink to win for our team, 20-12.

Looking good for my big semi final two bowls match on Friday evening against County standard opposition.
